Volunteers Needed for a Research Study on Smoking
This study is run by investigators in the UCSD Department of Psychology. The goal of our research is to better understand how smokers can control their urges for cigarettes. Participation involves visiting UCSD and spending about two hours total in an experiment. You will sit in a quiet room and occasionally smoke an electronic cigarette. While you are doing so we will measure the excitability of muscles of your arm using a non-invasive procedure.
Reimbursement is $15 per hour, including travel time. You must be between the ages of 18-50 and a moderate to heavy smoker.
