New Clinical Research Study is Seeking Participants Diagnosed with Skin Lupus
This study is the first study for individuals with cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of an investigational medication. Clinical trials are critical in the search for a better life for people with lupus. While clinical studies are critical, it's important to know the facts about research before deciding whether or not to participate. People who have been diagnosed with skin lupus for at least 18 months and who are struggling to control their symptoms may be eligible to participate in this study.

More knowledge about their type of skin lupus
Ongoing study-related medical care (such as exams and lab tests)
Sunscreen throughout study participation

Access to the latest research related to individuals with these forms of skin lupus
Compensation for time
To be included in the trial participants must:
1. Be 18 years or older
2. Have a clinical diagnosis of DLE (discoid lupus erythematosus )or SCLE (subcutaneous lupus erythematosus) for more than 16 weeks before screening for the study
3. Have active skin lesions
4. Be in good general health other than a lupus diagnosis
Exclusion Criteria (other exclusion criteria not listed here may apply)
1. History of any significant major uncontrolled diseases
2. Pregnant or nursing
