Bambusa Oldhamii is the standard bamboo plant for making screens or hedges 35 ft tall to block off street noise or nosy neighbors- We have nice 15 gallon plants that are 8-12 ft tall now, you plant them every 5-6 feet....also have 5 gallon plants 4-6 ft high for $35.
