Fees for 40 Hour training:

MODULE A Training (8 HOURS) $50.00
MODULE B Training (16 HOURS) $30.00
MODULE C Training(16 HOURS) $30.00
40-Hour Security guard Training Requirements Effective July 1, 2004

California law requires that, each year, you get eight hours of “ specifically dedicate review or practice of security officer skills” training as prescribed in California Business & Profession Code Section 7583.6, et seq. Additionally, in order to renew your guard card, California Business and profession Code Section 7583.20(f)(2) states that you must provide proof of training before a renewal can be process. If you fail to renewal in time, additional fees may be assessed against you. If you later attempt to renew, you must still complete the security officer skill training.

If you fail to get this training, you may be terminated, have you license suspended or revoked, have fines assessed against you, and possibly other punitive consequences. This training is available through training facilities within the State of California and can be fully completed in as little as one day.
