This fabulous print of a champion pointer has Bert Cobb’s signature in the bottom right hand corner with the name of the dog “McTyre” written in the bottom left hand corner.
The full pages is 8 7/8” x 12 ¼”. The mounted print is 7 ¼” x 8 ¾”. It is mounted on Van Gelder All Rag Paper. It would look fabulous matted and framed.
Known for his drypoint etchings, Bert Cobb was considered one of the world’s most talented canine artists. This is from the rare, hard-to-find book HUNTING DOGS by Bert Cobb published in 1931, and one of a limited edition of 990 books.
