Refurbished early 1900’s Brass Port Navigation Lantern. Based on the design and materials used , this is appears to be a PerkoLantern with the ID tag missing. Lanterns of this type were usually mounted on left side of the pilothouse and lighted while underway at night. This lantern measures 10½" tall (without the bale) x 7" wide x 5½" deep with a 1½" bale and weighs 3 pounds. The hinged door contains a 4½"H x 4¼W red 112° dioptric lens which is in excellent condition. Also, the original oil font mount is still in place and a 110 volt porcelain light fixture has been added at some time in the past. Included is is a 7' power cord with an in-line switch. There is a dent in the lower right front corner and the top half of the chimney is a little loose but still attached. This nautical artifact has seen some sea duty and is a prime example of U.S. maritime history. Additional Nautical Items Available - Please Call Cliff @ 760-942-2025 For More Information
